This remake of Fever Pitch doesn’t have any of the originality or sparkle of other Farrelly Brothers movies – even their remake of The HeartbreakKid was stamped with the obvious Farrelly Brothers feel that has been made so popular by movies such as There’s Something About Mary and Shallow Hal. Still, this is an entertaining movie that manages to be entertaining, even without the gross-out moments so often associated with these directors.
